~Please bear with me for all the pictures of my paintings. I lost my digital camera over the summer, and these were taken with the built in camera in a MacBook.~
Ok, so after still lifes we moved on to a self portrait. This is my very first self portrait EVER. We had various lamps lit throughout the room with the rest of the lights turned off, hence the extreme lighting. I also missed class because of a rehearsal, so I really had to paint this one on my own, without any guidance from my teacher. It's not perfect, but I think it's a pretty good first attempt. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
